One must first confirm that their institution is on the list of Designated Learning Institutions (DLIs) before to study in Canada as an international student. In Canada, there are numerous schools which have different DLI numbers for each location.

Primary and Secondary Schools

All schools in Canada are DLIs. The majority of provinces offer education from Grade 1 through Grade 12. You receive your diploma once you have finished secondary school.
When you arrive in Canada with a work or study permit, if you have minor children, they will attend school. A separate study permission is not required of them.

Non-DLI Schools

Assume you plan to study at a school that has not been appointed a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) by territorial or state authorities. In that situation, the institution won’t be able to host any further international students.
You cannot obtain a study permit to attend a non-DLI school. You must transfer as quickly as feasible or before your present permit expires if the DLI status is removed.
